I was wondering what peoples' feelings are about kissing during intercourse. I LOVE it, but it's so awkward in some positions. When my fiance kisses me during sex, it makes it more romantic and bonding--it reinforces that he loves me as a person and that it isn't just about mechanics and orgasms. We often use a side-by-side sort of position that's one of my favorites because we can kiss so easily. Am I alone here? Also, is this a girl thing or do guys like it too?

I like it. My husband seems to like it too. But it only lasts for so long as he needs to breathe when he's thrusting into me. When we start out in intercourse, he'll begin his thrusts more slowly and gently, and that's usually when we can kiss. He also enjoys talking dirty to me during that part of it too...helps with the build-up.

I love kissing. But there are times that I'm breathing heavily and kissing makes it kinda hard to breathe. So, I think that it just depends on the moment.

This is a really interesting question. I don't like kissing during sex. I love kissing before sex though. I could just kiss and make out for hours. I love mouthing and tasting and licking. Anything I can do with my mouth turns me on. But real kissing is something I only really like as foreplay. During sex I'm not a kisser. I focus on mechanics, the in and out. Kissing during sex is a distraction. He's much more of a kisser than I am. When we kiss he's the one who starts it. It also has a lot to do with the nature of the sex act too. In lovemaking, kissing fits, but not so much when you're just ****ing. I separate the two.
