I'm a 19 year old female and I've been sexually active for over a year now but i have trouble orgasming. My clitoris is not sensitive at all. I get no real pleasure from clitoral stimulation. I've had guys eat me out and finger my clit and it gave me no pleasure. I've even masturbated on my own and I get no pleasure in that. On top of that, I get really wet to the point where I lose feeling down there. So during sex, it doesn't feel bad, but it doesn't feel as good as it used to feel when I first started having sex with my boyfriend. A lot of people have told me just to take it slow and engage in a lot of foreplay before having sex, but that will just make me super wet to the point where I can't feel anything.

I've used vibrators and it again just takes too long to even get close to an orgasm. I don't even think I've had an orgasm before, so that probably means I haven't. You might want to talk to a doctor to check your hormone levels. That might be a good place to start.

Dear I would advise to consult a gynecologist just to be sure. Now you have to understand something about your clitoris and how it is structured during arousal and the lead up to orgasm. The clitoral hood or cover also expands during terminal phases of stimulation. The proportion of how erectile the clitoral head and its covering/hood become varies from woman to woman. I have seen it in some cases where the hood has a larger ratio during the last steps of orgasmic buildup, hence it covers the clitoral head preventing any further stimulation to reach thus giving the illusion that your clit is not sensitive. If you have good feelings in the beginning which you don't get with time then chances are this is the most probable scenario.
Discuss this with your partner. I am sure he will be willing to learn more about female anatomy in general and yours in particular. Additionally I would advise that both of you study Nina Hartley's book/guide about analingus and cunilingus.
