This may seem trivial compared to some of the real problems some people have, but it's something that is bothersome to both my husband and to me. I have always been just about as perfectly bisexual as you can be. My husband knows I was with one female partner before we were married, but we are committed to a monogamous marriage. However, when we watch porn together I invariably like the girl-girl scenes, and he invariably tries to avoid them. It's like he's afraid it might trigger some big passion in me that I wont' be able to control or something - as if George Cloney hadn't already done that ten years ago! :-)

Anyway, since he kind of avoids it I've kind of started pushing the envelope a little. I bought a CD that was strictly lesbian, and sure enough he wants nothing to do with watching it with me. He says he doesn't really like it, but I don't believe him. He also doesn't want to watch man-man porn with me, so at least he's consistent ;-)

How do I make him know that his insecurity over this is not based on reality? By reacting with irritation it actually makes me want to watch it more - not in a vindictive way, but more in a "I'm going to be naughty" kind of way. Anyway, thoughts or suggestions?

Hmm. I'd find the idea of my female partner liking lesbian porn to be a turn-on - it would at least provide the fantasy of a possible 3-some with her and another woman. I think a lot of men find lesbian porn exciting.

Maybe he really doesn't care for it. Statistically, straight men prefer male/female porn over any other type, even girl on girl.

Has he said why he doesn't like you watching lesbian porn, or are you guessing? Your guess may be right - but its possible that as sp346 says, he just doesn't happen to like it.
