Why am I so weird about sex ?

I need help , I have a boyfriend and we've been dating a year now and I lost my virginity to him . But since he wasn't one now I think if he compares me to his previous sex partners , or if I'm self esteem is effecting us ? Im not sure what it is , I just feel very weird about the whole sex thing . Can someone give me advice ?

I think there are a lot of reasons you may feel that way. I think it's fairly common for the less experienced person to have those thoughts and feelings, and I think it's a normal thing you're experiencing.

If your relationship is good otherwise, I think your insecurity will pass over time. Talk to him about your feelings and "fears" and let him share his ideas. My guess is, he expected this, doesn't mind it and loves you anyway.

Sex is like anything else: we need experience to get good at it and find what we enjoy. Give yourself time and enjoy yourself. In a few months, this will likely not be an issue.

The most important part about sex in a relationship is communication. Talk to him about how you feel. No doubt he'll reassure you that he's not comparing you to anyone. He is most probably enjoying being able to be the one who's teaching all the wonderful things about sex. Just relax and enjoy.

Yes, what Lilah said. Communicate and tell him how you're feeling. You're also going to have to get over your insecurities. He's with you now and if he wanted to be with those other girls, he would be. Be confident, it's sexy. Have you ever heard the saying, sex is like pizza, even when it's bad it's pretty darn good! Relax and just have fun. Try not to think about what is in his past. It will hold you back from moving forward in the future.
