Why can't I orgasm during sex?

I've never been able to orgasm during sex. I can feel him inside me and I love when he goes inside me. When he's on top I can't orgasm unless he's rubbing against my clitoris. If I'm on top I orgasm but again it's because my clitoris is rubbing against him. I wish I could orgasm during sex just by penetration. It's very frustrating for him and it's starting to cause issue between my boyfriend and I. He's frustrated and I'm frustrated. I've tried to tell him that it has nothing to do with him and that I think my body is just made that way. I orgasm if we have oral sex and if he rubs my clitoris. I don't orgasm by putting my finger even when I masturbate only if I rub my clit. I don't know what to do; I've heard this is common but apparently he's never had this issue with anyone else. Any ideas on how I can orgasm during sex is much appreciated.

every person is going to be different. But you could try some different positions so that he hits your g-spot. a gd way to do that is to put a pillow under ur lower back. But dont let it get to you, the stress will just make it harder for you to relax and let your body do what it wants to.

He manually masturbating you and he giving you oral are the ways that many if not most women are brought to orgasm by their significant other. You are not unusual. Different positions, as candy suggests, are a good way for you to get enough clitoral stimulation. The fact is that the vagina just doesn't have a large number of nerve endings so vaginal stimulation may not work. Maybe you could find a position where he can masturbate your clitoris while having intercourse. Keeping track of several tasks in such a case can be difficult.

In blunt honesty, I think he needs to become educated. Arrogance in sexual intercourse will only lead to disaster. Every woman's body is build differently, that's something that every man should understand. He needs to learn YOUR body, and not run off of nonsensical rumors. Don't be ashamed of how your body is in any way of the definition. If he cares about your pleasure, he will do what pleases you. You know what works for you, you've tried other things and they don't pan out for you. Don't let sex become ruined for you.

          What she said! ^

Guys oftentimes have a lot of ego riding on their sexual 'prowess,' so they might want take the short route now and then and just try to be Mr. Wonderful without actually earning their stripes. In those cases, they should be gently handled in the form of something like "I love you baby and you're the most awesome thing ever but we need to hone your technique a bit more finely." (Basically reassure them that your total opinion of them as men isn't riding on their bedroom capabilities and then work on getting them trained.)

It's unfortunate that some of the less sophisticated ones out there will quickly move to blaming their partner or choosing to think that something's wrong with them when their rough draft technique doesn't work out, but I guess that's just the way it goes. (shrug) The funny thing is, most (okay let's settle for many) women will gladly help a guy along and be patient with one who wants to put forth the effort to actually be good in bed.

What everyone has already said; relax, don't stress about it, and keep in mind that every woman out there is different. Also, bear in mind that some can't orgasm at all during sex, no matter which position or technique. Some just aren't able to, period, so all in all, you are pretty fortunate!

I rarely orgasm during sex. Nearly every time my husband does oral first and then asks if I want him to use a toy on me afterward. It took several months and buying a new style of toy to find something that worked. The angle he was using and the hardness of the other toys was causing too much irritation.

As others have said, you're not alone. I'm a lot older than you (a lot) and for decades figured the nerve endings in my vagina must just be deeper than other womens because I never felt even close to a vaginal orgasm. Then out of the blue, one time (with me on top) I got the most incredible sensations. I made sure I stayed in the position I was in and had my first ever vaginal orgasm. Now it doesn't happen every time I'm on top, but at least I know I can do it sometimes, and that's fine by me b/c I thoujght I'd never be one of those women - so don't lose heart. If you're happy with orgasms whichever way you can have them, that should be enough for your partner.
