    should i be worried?

I am a virgin and last night my boyfriend fingered me instead of sex. He has done this many times and usually it feels fine. I have had no discomfort (except for maybe slightly the very first time)and definitely none the morning after. This time he was very into it and went much deeper, harder, and faster than anything before. At the time it felt fine and even good. No real discomfort, just different. But this morning I woke up and my vaginal opening felt irritated. It doesn't itch but maybe a slight burn, definitely sensitive and I don't want anything touching it. I also have a heavy, odorless mucus-like discharge. I've had it very lightly the past couple of days but today, the morning after, it's much heavier. I have read this is normal for women, but it is not something normal for me. Could this possibly be because he went so deep, he "popped my cherry" and this is the aftermath? I am worried and confused as to why this is happening. Please help.

i would not worry about anything, he might have just gone rougher than usual. sometimes guys like to dig in there like they are digging a hole, they understand that you have to be gentle, my husband will do that sometimes. just tell them to slow it down and not so rough. the mucas discharge is usually after you have your period about 14dys after iswhen you are ovulating the best time to try for a baby, not you in general just saying any women that is the best time. you might get the mucas stuff for a few days, nothing to worry about totally normal, if it goes on for a month go get checked by your ob/gyn. so it sounds like you will be okay. just don't have your boyfriend be so rough when he does that, it is a very sensitive part of a women.

I would not worry. Just the thought of how good it felt could make those juices work up again which could cause the mucus. It may not be a bad idea of having some astroglide handy for smooth sailing. They have nice bottle sizes that are small and easy to handle. Their strawberry scent is fantastic. My husband still gets me sore every once in a while but I never say no either.....It just feels too good.....All these wonderful parts of being a woman......

Also, make sure his hands are clean and his nails are manicured...he can easily give you a yeast infection if his hands are dirty than inside you.

As for your "cherry" being popped - fingering is sex. Unless you subscribe to the Bill Clinton theory of "sexual relations", when another person enters your vagina it's sex.

I'm not old-fashioned, and I know everyone's got a different perspective on this - but if you are being manually stimulated with fingers instead of a penis, what's the real difference? His fingers can't ejaculate, I know - but you can still cum!

Sorry metboogie, I completely disagree with you.

It's foreplay, or "fooling around" - I say if it can't get you pregnant and its not a penis, it's not sex.

My vibrating egg makes me come - am I having sex with it?

Kath - some women bleed anywhere from a little to a lot when their hymen breaks, and some not at all. You really may not know until you have penile penetration whether or not your cherry has actually been popped.

Being sore the morning after is definitely part of either a long session of fooling around (my friends and I used to say we were "walkin' the walk" when we had a long night) or experience that was just a little too rough. Not that it necessarily hurt at the time, understand.

Your discharge and soreness are both fine, and will both go away. As long as whatever comes out of you has no odor and is relatively colorless, you're fine.

Like I said, everyone has a different perspective on sex...

I'll agree to disagree, otherwise it becomes semantics.

Going on that statement alone if that's the case then millions of us women are having sex with our gyno's when we go for our yearly exam.

My point was more about the fact that she was trying to still claim her virginity because his penis hadn't been fully inside her, but was still having sex (in one way or another).

Yes, my definition does seem to lend itself to sex with your gyno every 6 months...so there is a flaw...but again, that's semantics.

I'm talking about 2 people in a relationship having "sexual relations" and trying to avoid "real sex" by doing everything but...
