Wish it were that simple in my situation. He's had his testosterone levels checked on two different occasions in the last couple of years and both times his doctor said it was in the "normal" range.
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.

I worked with experts in the field of testosterone and sometimes "normal" ranges can be very misleading. When you get a testosterone level test, it's for total T. But the free T level is what really matters (kind of like total cholesterol and LDL). Your total T could be in normal range, but free T may be low. Also, different doctors have different definitions of "normal". When I tested a bunch of primary care doctors about what they believe is low T, most identified levels that were way below normal; meaning they didn't consider it low T unless it was super low. Additionally, the experts I worked with always said don't base is just on the number. If there are other symptoms of low T, then consider it. I would recommend going to an endocrinologists who specializes in testosterone therapy to be on the sure time.

It's always possible it's not low T. In that case, you need to go to a doctor who specializes in sexual health.

I'm in the same boat so I sympathize. Unfortunately, my husband won't even go to the doctor.
