Im 18 and I have no sex drive! It is causing tension between me and my boyfriend. He thinks I am no longer attracted to him. I want to be interested in having sex and he is good but it just isnt happening. I never will initiate sex and regularly turn it down. I dont think I get the same pleasure most people do. Im wondering if anyone can suggest possible causes of this. I looked up the side effects of my pill (yasmin) and one of them was low sex drive however when we first got together I didnt have this problem and was on the pill though only for a short period.

The pill is def a trigger for Low sex drive i was on it and after a while i had the same problem try changing to another type of pill -

Meds are a distinct possibility, but not the only one. You should really talk to your doctor, as about all we can do here is say "must be something."

I didn't think 'yasmin' was even on the market anymore,, it has a lot of side effects, and there were or are a bunch of law suits going on over it.Comment

Right now Patti a bunch of lawyers are working on bringing a law suit as a class action one against Bayer the ones who are marketing this birth control pills. But there is many side effects that are effecting many women the most blood clots and the most dangerous of the side effects.When out driving always turn left.
