I'm still newly pregnant (about 6 weeks in right now) - found out around Memorial Day. But, I was wondering and I may ask my doctor... when I'm bigger (like in the 3rd trimester) what sex positions can you do? doggy style is what my friends told me they all did. any others still okay? Newbie here with the pregnancy thing

We made good use of the "spoon position" late in my wife's pregnancy. She liked it, me too. She never stopped wanting sex until about the day of delivery. I thought perhaps in the final weeks she would not feel like it, but not so!

Any position you can get into. I know people say to keep pressure off the belly, but that doesn't affect that baby at all. That baby is so protected in your womb that you can punch your belly without hurting the baby. Doggy, spooning, standing, modified missionary, off-the edge of the bed, cowgirl, in a chair riding him, etc. Really, what ever position you feel like you can get into. You are more flexible during this time, but you also have more aches and pains.

Congrats Caperunner, I am so happy for you on this great news. You will I know be a great mom as husband a great father. Your third trimester for my wife personally she could only do doggy and spooning with these position was the most comfortable for her and her back. The missionary was completely out for obvious reasons belly a little in the way lol. I guess she could have done cow girl but it also hurt her back so those two first position we stay too in late stages of wife pregnancy.So is that right looking at late January or early February for birth date Caperunner.

I can't wait to start feeling him or her in my belly and someone else said spooning position... I'm guessing that's self explanatory but we've never done it that way before... he keeps teasing me and gets behind me and says this is how we're going to do it for the last 3 months (it's one of his fav. ways to do it, so I think that's where that enthusiasm comes in) haha

Oh Caperunner you will love spooning me and wife did that for 4 pregnancy it's the best very position. While in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy husband will love this position as well he can rub the belly and reach around and rub the clitoris as well. This got my wife get to that BIG 0 so quick that she was in heaven.
