    Anal Sex and Stress

Okay, I know this is weird but bear with me.

About a year ago my bf introduced the idea of anal sex which I wasn't too enthusiastic about but gave it a few open minded tries. The first couple of times weren't that great bc I was tense but once I began to relax into it, I actually started to enjoy it, although I never saw it as a replacement for traditional sex and didn't do it that often. Recently, however, I've been wanting it more often and have noticed an association of requesting it more when I'm stressed. Maybe it has something to do with the intenseness and physicality of it? Like I get an endorphin rush? Like when I've had a stressful day at work and I'm not too tired, anal is usually the only thing I want and I can actually have orgasms from it, with some help.

With that said, do you think this is psychologically healthy and has anyone else had this experience?

I think it's healthy and also think you should enjoy it and follow your desire.

I've never had the stress reaction to anal, but your explanation makes sense. Whatever the reason, there is nothing psychologically unhealthy about it. Anal sex is not "dirtier" or psychologically more or less damaging than vaginal sex. As long as BF enjoys it, take the stress reduction and enjoy.

The only time sex, of any type, is psychologically damaging is when it becomes an obsession and interferes with other aspects of your life for an extended period of time. If it's just an occasional stress relief that sounds pretty healthy to me.

Well Sophie, if it feels good and you enjoying your self with your SO along with you having orgasm from it. Well who am I to say it's weird or wrong keep on having enjoying all the pleasure you get having with anal sex.

I think your just learning to enjoy anal.

Too many women have a hang-up about it, that it's "dirty" or "unnatural." I think anything you do that gives you pleasure is natural. I was introduced to anal at age 17 by a very understanding older lover and I've made it a part of my regular sex life ever since. If done correctly it is neither painful or messy. I find the feeling from anal is different than vaginal, somehow "deeper" and it makes me fell more "filled up". The best orgasms I have ever had have been from anal sex while playing with my clit. It's a deep shuddering orgasm that makes me squirt and squirt.

I'd also recommend trying double penetration, even with just a toy your your vagina or anus. It's the best of both worlds and will absolutely drive your crazy.

Hey, if it feels good ... and it's consensual. If it is a stress relief, nothing wrong with that. Sure better than drinking or whatever to calm down. I'm glad you enjoy it. Having extra strings to your sexual bow is only a good thing.

i get horny when i am stressed. the hornier i get, the more kinky i want my sex. plain old quickee, vanilla sex is not very satisfying when i am very horny. i wonder if you may be similar to me. the hornier you are, the kinkier you want things to be. you obviously perceive anal as that kinky act that you need to be satisfied.

has anal something that has become more pleasurable to you than it was in the past?
