I'm on birth control so my partner and I don't use condoms, before we stopped using condoms we only used the standard condoms and occasionally ultra-thin. I immensely enjoy the feel of sex without condoms but I'm curious about the ribbed and textured condoms. However, I'm concerned that suddenly deciding to use a textured condom after not using any would make my partner feel like he can't satisfy me on his own.

Do textured and 'her pleasure' condoms even live up to the hype? And how can I suggest we try them without hurting his feelings?

I haven't used condoms in ages so I can't speak to that question, but I have NEVER had a woman suggest anything that she thought would enhance her sexual pleasure hurt my feelings. I think it's very hot knowing my woman is thinking about ways to have more fun with sex. Just tell him you think it would be fun to try.

I wouldn't waste my time on ribbed condoms. It was a while ago (and they may have gotten better) but I never thought that they did anything.

That said, do not give up on your quest for more pleasurable sex. There are lots and lots of toys, some that he can wear, which can stimulate you in various ways. Sit down with him and explore the web pages of a sex store (Amazon sells a lot of them) . . . Good Vibrations in San Francisco (they are on the web) is very descriptive, user friendly and focused on women (it is run by lesbians). His feelings will not be hurt.

Well yea I have not used condoms in like forever it seem like. But it's been 27 years now that me and wife have not used condoms. There no reason that we would ever used them again. So I really can't give you a idea SillyPhillyGirl, what condoms would feel good or not LOL.

I'm on birth control too, so we almost never use condoms. On the rare occasion that we have (such as when I have had to take antibiotics), I've never found a condom, ribbed or otherwise, that did anything for me or improved on the feeling of naked sex.

I honestly don't think you will feel a difference. I've experimented with a bunch of different comdoms, so you can trust me on this one. I did not feel a difference either, btw.

I find condoms overall to be more comfortable with my very sensitive urethra and occasional dryness. It works even better than lube on it's own. I never felt any difference in various types of condoms. A condom is a condom on my end.

I'm snipped, so I haven't had to use a condom for a while.

But I remember my favorite one was the one that has a wide pouch (while being snug at the base, I forget what they are called). Typical condoms choke the crap out of my wood, but the wide ones felt so free that they were the closest to the bare feeling I ever got with condoms.

I actually think that the textured condoms with rings of ribbing are quite pleasant as a change to normal condoms, dotted efforts do nothing for me, but I still wouldn't choose to use textured condoms if on bc as naked feels much better. Give them a try as an experiment.
