OK, well, since I'm (a) male and (b) american I can't really help except to say this:
Try Coco De Mer in Covent Garden, or Agent Provocateur in Soho. But Agent P is a bit pricey, that is if their prices are anything like the store in West Los Angeles. However their stuff is very, very nice and me and my wife use it all the time, especially their brand of perfume.
Hope this helps.

Some guys don't like lingerie. A survey was done (I saw it on AOL news) saying that men preferred a non-matched cotton panty/bra set over other kinds of lingerie ranging from teddies to black-lace-with-garters.
Lingerie just doesn't work on my man, but personally, it makes me feel extra-sexy and pretty.

I'm your age, with a great guy and we have not had sex. At one point he asked me to do something I was not comfortable with and I explained that I was not ready. Then my twisted mind started wondering if he would break up with me if I did not do this. He reassured me that if he would be disappointed by me not doing something sexual with him, that he never really loved me in the first place. We have been together for over 6 months, with no sex (we are waiting for marriage) and are completely happy. I'm not telling you to wait for marriage, but I am telling you to make the decision yourself. DO NOT let the fear of losing a guy you have been with only a few months make it for you (it sounded to me like you aren't 100% ready). Honestly, if he really cares about you, he will wait. Besides, you can always pleasure him in other ways until you are ready. If he is not happy with this, then maybe you should think about the relationship.Comment

Different people like different things. For some men, I think the idea is more important than what you are wearing. Personally I'm a great fan of long t-shirts and nothing else....Some guys don't like lingerie. As I've mentioned in other threads - most attractive thing is a smile...Comment

That's actually quite interesting, I recall in my first year of marriage, i put on the whole works, including suspenders, makeup, jewelery, and was rejected, (too tired), well i know that's usually the other way around.
But, then i've put a nice shift dress and he found that appealing...!
****ed if i know what to do now after 12 months, well actually around 18, in May for my new man, i did actually though state that i thought sexy was sexy underwear as aposed to lace, g-strings and well got a nod on that one, so who knows?PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment
