I assume you mean sexual arousal. I would expect that a clitoral erection could be caused by rubbing stimulation such as by clothes or by cold temperature. I am a guy, so I do not know personally but I would expect that the same things that cause penile erection in guys cause clitoral erection in women.

The clitoris could be erect on some woman but an observer would not be able to tell because the clitoral hood would still cover it. On other women, the clitoris is at least somewhat observable even in a non-aroused state due to the clitoral hood not covering it completely.

I have seen a SO have an erect clitoris due to sexual arousal before we had even been talking or touching. It's kind of an ego boost to know that you can cause such a response in your SO. SO = significant other.

Usually it means arousal. It can be caused by stimulation too but usually clothes are not enough to cause that.

For sure it means arousal as there's only a couple things that will make a women clitoris erect. This will really makes the women get sexually aroused along with enjoying more sexually fun with her mate or by her self in masturbation as well.
