Pregnant 2nd time - Drop in sex drive

So the first time around that I was pregnant I didn't see a real change in my ability to "get in the mood". This time I am seeing my sec drive drop and I don't know why. There are times where I initiate sex but when Ronnie initiates it I've been kind of blah lately. Is it the pregnancy hormones? The fact that I may be tired out between Jack, my job and the pregnancy? We still have a good intimate life and Ronnie can get me in the mood, but I'd like to get back to being the initiator once in awhile. Anyone else experience a decrease in sex drive while preggers the 2nd time?

Well yes Cape it happens you have your pregnancy hormones kicking in with Jack and your work. This is not a easy life so in a bit you be having the second child adding more to the plate. But with Ronnie helping out this will help you both get through this 2nd pregnancy. Me & Donna had two daughters 13 months apart so we know what you going through with all this. I surprise we didn't kill each other but we didn't of coruse and we made it through the battle and the war together and happy. I know you will as well Cape with Ronnie just pace your self and take it one day at a time.
When out driving always turn left. Then, should you become lost, you can find your way home by reversing the procedure and always turning right.

I don't know how to say this but... in my mind I want to have sex. I think my hubby is hot! But lately when we have alone time I'm like ehh I'd rather be in sweats and watch tv together lol I know that sounds lame, and it's not ALL the time but more often than before that's how I'm feeling. And Ron is great with it, he teases me a little but it makes us laugh together... He's a good sport!

Girl I'd say you're just TIRED. Between one youngin, a job, taking care of a home, and being pregnant (which many say makes them tired to begin with), you're just craving that comfy down time. As most of us ladies have experienced at some point, hormones can definitely play a role. When I was on BC (which resulted in my own natural hormones being out of whack), my mind told me I should want sex, but my body told me I'd be fine never having sex again in my life. That was nothing but out of whack hormones talking. It's great that he's good about it. I think when two people are confident in their love and stability, they are able to go through those times together and come out on the other side without resentment.

Thanks... That's reassuring... I have my moments and I'm definitely trying to balance everything out... Last night I wasn't in the mood really and he was, so at first I just went with it and almost right away he got me in the mood... It was a nice night, Jack was asleep and I even got a bubble bath in before we went to sleep... If that becomes the norm then I can deal with that haha...
