Hmmm. I'd recommend talking to your doctor about it during your next exam. It is usually a result of hormones not being quite the right balance. I had the issue while on low hormone bc. If you had it even before then, it's something I'd want to talk to my doctor about.
Another question... is it possible you are not getting adequately "turned on" before penetration? A woman's body won't respond to just anything, and if we're nervous, upset, unsure of ourselves, uncomfortable in any way, it can affect that drastically.Comment

In addition to BD's thoughts, I wonder if you're taking other medications? Anything like an allergy med? Are you drinking plenty of water also? I'm quite a bit older but I've noticed a difference if I'm not well hydrated.
My thoughts with such a young lady, if you're healthy otherwise, is that you're not getting aroused enough. I think it's common in our earlier years of sexual experience, that we don't realise how much stimulating our body needs to provide the lubrication we need to enjoy sex.
And I have also had men that want to have 2 minutes of foreplay and go right to it. That simply isn't enough sometimes, and if it's all you've ever known, it may be the issue.
Guys don't realise it either, so there's no blame for them either, it's just learning the body and what it needs.
See your doctor to make sure that everything is ok physically first.Comment

Yea I've spoken to my doctor a couple times and he said to try lubes. But after I told him that they tend to give me irritations he kinda just brushed it off and said all lubes are different. I do drink plenty of water, it's all I've ever drank really.
It gets frustrating when me and my boyfriend are trying to get intimate. I'm am aroused. All the time. Sometimes I feel I'm in heat just ready to jump his bones. But then we go for it and it's like a desert. sometimes he feels like it's his fault that he's not doing a good job. But there's also times that I will get wet out of no where. Not even when I'm in a sexual situation. I'll be sitting at work and boom. It happen.Comment

That does sound really frustrating. If you're eating healthy, drinking lots of water, feeling aroused, and you know its not the birth control causing it, I'm really not sure what direction to point. It does sound like a hormonal issue. Maybe someone else on here will see this and have some better insight. Your doctor is right there are different kinds of lubes. Water based, oil based, etc. I wouldn't want to use something that caused me irritation either. I'd go for something water-based that doesn't have any perfumes or anything like that in it.Comment
