    Pain & Dryness

    Hi all
i was wondering if any of you had any advice,
i wasn’t exactly sure what topic to post this under but this one seemed fit.
during the last couple of months I’ve experienced a burning pain after sex, it usually lasts around an hour or 2 after sex and makes it difficult to sleep, my doctor said it was either an infection or dryness but I’m not sure. It also feels like I need to pee heaps but stings and nothing comes out, my vaginas usually pretty painful and dry before intercourse and after wards I’ll use wet wipes to clean around it and it stings and feels so dry, any help would be much appreciated as I’m starting to be in a bit of pain,
    thank you

Also I’m on Ava20ed and have recently started taking hayfever and itchy bite pills but the pain and dryness was around before I started the allergy pills

It almost sounds like a UTI. Did the doctor test you for that?

Have you tried using a good unscented lube?

I'd recommend that you find a urologist.

Urologists generally take care of male problems, gynecologists take care of female problems. If it is urinary tract related, a urologist does both.
