    I cannot properly masturbate?

Whenever i masturbate i cannot reach any sort of climax (or anything near it!) in fact, it is almost as if i cannot get aroused.
I will get wet watching porn or with a fantasy, but when i rub myself it is hardly anything, until i get a feeling of being very hot and turned on, but then my body panics, and forces e to stop. What is this? Is there any way of avoiding this?

(I am 16, a virgin and i also have ASD, if any of that matters)

Do you mean you are on the autism spectrum or you have an atrial septum defect, or is there something else you mean by ASD?

    What medications are you on?
Some meds could affect your sexual function.

Also, at your age, it may just be a matter of relaxing and allowing yourself to get there. It doesn't come all that easily, for some of us, it takes practice and patience to stimulate the right areas with the right pressure and time. It's an art sometimes lol

I'm not a female or a doctor (obviously) but I think you should seek help with this. My wife and I have been married for almost 50 years and she responded in a similar way for many of those years. She would let herself go 'to a point' then as she was approaching climax she would (sort of) panic and stop herself from going over the edge. It always seemed to me she was afraid to be seen to lose control. I'm sure she found this extremely frustrating as have I. She has relaxed a bit in her senior years but it still exists to a degree.

Try building the sexual tension up in stages until you are ready to climax. Do this by getting turned on a little bit, then stopping. Then go at it again after as short time in between. Do this several times before you are ready to try for climax. Hopefully you will hit climax before your body panics. I suggest using other things to increase the mood such as your favorite sexy music, and a perfume or scent that you find sexy and even clothing you feel sexy in. Try not to focus on climaxing but rather just letting go. Purposely slow down so as to not fatigue or overload your nerves with sensations.

High functioning autism. It's due to our different responses to stimuli and our reactions to things, i wondered if there was a connection.

Could certainly be a connection there. I'm not terribly knowledgeable on autism, so mentioning it to your doctor may eventually be necessary.
              Are you on medication daily?

For now, I'd suggest trying the suggestions. Even for those of us without autism, learning to climax regularly can be a tricky process. And it is something to learn, it doesn't necessarily just happen easily for everyone. There are factors that affect our ability and the sensations.
