Getting back to the original question, I've never met anyone from the internet but have thought about it in the past (surprise surprise). When you chat to someone for a while and they have such a way with words that you can almost "feel" them through the keyboard it can be quite tempting. I used to chat to a lovely sounding guy who would talk about kissing my neck and stroking me etc etc. Oh my god he could make me feel so good just with words and imagination. As I said it was very tempting but I was worried he would turn out to be ugly and the dream would be shattered! So no, still haven't. Would love to meet someone as intriguing and intelligent and funny as you (sound) anon (just a compliment not an offer ha ha) to see what you are like in the flesh but on the whole it should probably be a no no.Comment

Actually maz33, apart from the meeting Anon, in the "flesh" which obviously some un-lucky, i mean lucky girl did from an internet site of sorts, which shows it CAN HAPPEN, FINALLY, Um, where was i, oh, and apart from the fact that your not allowed to, your married, as an avid on line dating internet site, person, who goes off in 2 weeks, then hides photo, due to the amount of "characters", i have truly met friends out of it, as for talking the talk, then walking the walk, well, half way, with some in it for me, i am sure, logic and/or, easy to talk the talk over the net, so forget that they may be ugly, they may be in-different as well.
So my recommendation is if you want to find out about someone over a net situation, (not you maz33), lol, then find out via other sources not dating sites, those are more non confident, or over confident, or sexual prowlers, or, 1 out of 100 are perfect, but will take you some time to find him...
Other sites, allows you to get more into the "mind" of a person and ascertain whether or not you like their soul, characteristics, thought patterns pertaining to all sorts of subject and then looks come after, which then can make attraction deeper, as a result, and shock, surprise, if that suits as well but a better package all way round.
