Do Women Ever Feel Jealousy Over Sex Toys?

We hear a lot about men who feel intimidated or jealous when a partner uses a phallic sex toy—or any sex toy.

I wonder, now that sex toys are constantly improving and things like strokers, clit-suckers, and blowjob simulators are readily available—are any women also concerned or competitive with a partner’s sex toy?

I don’t relate to sex toy jealousy. But I have to think it’s not exclusive to men. What say you all?

As a man, I never want my partner to use sex toys. it's very jealous to me.......If my partner uses a sex toy, so why am I here? Why we are in a relationship? This sex is mine, I for my partner, and my partner is for me. So we do not need any sex toys. We love each other,,,,, so in the end, I completely disagree with your opinion.

Your mindset is sadly, a common one. Hopefully though, you bring far more to your relationships than what a sex toy does.

I have never been jealous of a sex toy but I will tell a story about something I thought was an urban legend but it proved to be true. I sort of dated, or as close to dating as I got back in my wilder days, this girl in 2010, who claimed that she had what she called "rabbit" burnout and could only cum from using a super powerful vibrator she had because it had desensitized her clit essentially. I thought it was just a line and maybe I wasn't doing something right and she didn't want to hurt my feeling. But I swear to God I did everything she said and wanted and no matter what I did, how long I went down on her she enjoyed it and got so hot and into it but her trigger could never quite trip. But if I pulled out her vibrator, and she wasn't kidding that thing had some power to it, it would make her cum hard and repeatedly in no time. It was like she had accidentally pavlovian trained herself to only cum that way.
My ego was a little hurt initially but I got over it and got behind it that at least I could be the one using the thing on her that gave her pleasure so it was a help to me not a threat. We didn't last but that wasn't the reason.
I bought my wife a WeVibe remote control vibrator years ago. Looks awesome like a couples vibrator we could use together. She has refused to ever use it or even take it out of the box. I give up sometimes.

The research on that topic suggests that unless she’s actually given herself nerve damage, using even a powerful vibe shouldn’t permanently reduce sensation. If she takes a break from the (I’m assuming Hitachi) sensitivity should return.

I don’t remember a brand name but yeah she had one that was like a magic wand so I assume it was hitachi. And one that was like a pocket rocket with these three silver ball like ends that were super powerful too. She called that the jack rabbit because for some reason I’ll never understand she called her ***** a rabbit. Hence her term rabbit burnout. She was an interesting girl. I’m sure if she took a break she would have gotten sensation back and I could have gotten her off myself but we weren’t really the patient types either of us and I was ok with doing whatever worked. As long as it is not another person satisfying my partner, at least when I’m in a relationship, I’m good with whatever else it takes to satisfy her so toys are not a threat. I’d kill for my wife to use toys or even masturbate so she could get comfortable with her body and comfortable with female sexual pleasure and orgasms and help me be good for her, sometimes I feel like she is literally fighting against me to not enjoy sex which makes no sense to me. But whatever.

I've never been jealous of sex toys (and my husband has not, either). I think it's because the sensations from them are just different. Like, it's almost compartmentalized in a way? Similarly though, neither one cares if the other masturbates either. It's just separate from what we do together.

That said, there was one point where I was glad to have sex toys for him... I injured my back a few years ago and I was out of commission for a hot minute. So they were a helpful substitute LOL.

I am curious if any women or couples have ever used the WeVibe? the remote control and actually controlled by an app on your smart phone couples vibrator. I actually bought that for my wife in 2016 when she made a comment about wanting to try a sex toy. So I got it foe her as a Valentine's Day present. Yeah its still there, has sat in the box unopened since then. She said that but then when actually physically having it she totally changed her tune saying she never said that and she doesn't masturbate and thinks women masturbating is gross and etc etc. She does that a lot with revisionist history and becoming progressively more prudish. Very aggravating. But it looked so cool, waterproof so you can use in the shower and, looks like it stimulated both the clit and the g spot and allowed for intercourse at the same time. And with the phone app so I could tease and play with her while I wasn't there. Sounded so hot but alas I never got to find out. Anybody have any experience with it.

I have not, but a lot of people around here LOVE that thing! With the newer models, it seems that they've fixed the issues with the app not working right, and include a remote control as well, so you can do it close proximity, wifi, or fully remote over longer distances for couples not in the same location.

Looks exciting, and I'd totally be down to try it with a partner and control her orgasms from across the room!
