    I'm over it a bit!

As a side note: What is it with guys and strip clubs these days. A long time ago it would be a rare occurance, bachelor party thing. Now guys on a tuesday morning, its rediculous. I think since much of the stigma has been lifted off patrons of these type of establishments and dancers themselves so they are taking full advantage of that and going like crazy.

I'd be embarassed at having to pay a hot guy to talk to me. To know all the flirting being done in my direction is only being done because I am holding out a stack of ones. Guys are losing their dignity and they don't even realize it. The dancers themselves don't even respect the guys who patron. Bleah.

HD, it backfired on me, too. We went to 2 strip joints in separate ocassions and we'll be back with some of his co-workers. I feel weird in doing that, but it doesn't do anything to me (seeing naked women). For a fact, I pity them that they have to do that for a living. And somehow it boosts my ego when men look at me (I got scared though when a man looked at me like a piece of meat). I held my BF's hand so tight... He gently squeezed me closer to him.

For some reason, going there and seeing the girls made me believe myself more. "Yeah, they might be sexier...but I have something that they don't have, which makes me more attractive and desirable." I am an exotic dish that any man can dream of...

There you go, hold that thought. When ever you get down pull it right back up to the front of your mind.

I am very impressed by your sense of self caterpillar, don't ever lose it. We can let ourselves be taken for granted by not knowing our own worth.

If he is having conversations about you his girlfriend with guys at work, obviously he wants you and not some nasty degrading sorry excuse for a woman at a strip club, you rather he go see a stranger at a strip club or his loving girlfriend at home. Think about it.

Aweee I get what your "trying to say", but I have met beautiful soulful women whom strip in my lifetime, who only did it to get some money behind them, then left the Industry.

Simularily, last night I was discussing matters over a sale for Real Estate with a client and she proceeded to tell me about her niece who has a small tattoo on her buttocks and in that conversation, she "proudly" stated that her Niece was a stripped, a dancer, an artist and was extremely good at it.

              I felt her proudness.

Some girls have no choice, (In their mind), it's survival. Or they see it as a form of Art and are not ashamed of their bodies...

I don't believe anyone's employment should be catagoried into a personality of sorts.

              That's just my opinion...

CW, WC and HD: You all helped me out sort things through my clouded sense of equilibrium. (HD, i peeked into your girlfriends group and read about your exchanges with CW about jealousy - boosted me). Thanks.

I fall into the category of people who tend to look down on individuals in this profession - GUILTY!!! But you gave me something to ponder about, Mum! And that's a good thing, because I am useless if I don't think a lot, remember? LOL!

Your boyfriend thinks you rock by saying this. I totally see how you've taken it though i would have myself but looking at previous comments and the positive attitudes i hope everyone has helped you.looking at this has also helped me see that i shouldnt be so sensitive and think that my fiance was actually impressing his mates rather than trying to be degrading. As for stippers I see why people have to do it (for money etc, etc) and I see why women want to do it.It must be amazing to get the adrenaline rush and feeling the confidence to actually get up strip and dance and think yeh im good lol. hope this helps.

Everyone DID. Believe me, it has been like an on-going PM marathon amongst us. I marvel at the enormous support that this forum has to offer. It is truly reinforcing my morphing time well in schedule.

I wonder how much "shut-eye" time CW and WC have nowadays. LOL!

I'm totally over it now. I hope that I will be able to stick to the idea of being an exoctic dish at all times, especially during "crisis". BF must've felt that wave of confidence that he wasn't able to resist my charm last night. Hmmm.
