1. What is your worst dating experience ever and how did you get out of it?

Okay! This is fun!

1. I went on a blind date, and the guy I was set up with ended up being someone who I had met before, and whose subsequent calls and messages I had deliberately ignored!!

I didn't quite "get out of it"... But after a few awkward moments, followed by an hour or so of him fuming but trying to be polite about it, I just carried on pouring alcohol for him (and myself)... and the night ended on a drunkenly friendly note!

2. Our first date was just dinner. It wasn't supposed to be a date, as we had just recently met and were going out as acquaintances, soon-to-be friends. But he was so articulate and intelligent and had such pretty eyes... I couldn't take my eyes off him as he was sitting across from me... It was one of those charged atmospheres that both parties can feel, ya know?

Next evening he called me to go out for a drink and the rest is history.

1. I was set up on a blind date with this guy who seemed really nice and all, and he was. But when I met up with him for dinner at a casual place, he'd ordered (and POUNDED) 8 beers within just a half hour. He got up to go to the bathroom at one point and our waiter came over to me and asked "Is your friend okay? He just stumbled into the bathroom." At that point I texted my friend telling her to call me, and made it seem like she had a huge fight with her boyfriend and was walking down the highway somewhere so I had to go get her. Haha. I'm sure the guy saw right through it, but I'm all set with that!

2. I'd already met him and hung out with him casually a bunch of times. I'd gone to his band practices, had him at the house, other stuff.... But he wanted to take me on an official date after a couple of weeks of that. He knew I LOVED sushi, and even though he absolutely hates it (he's the pickiest eater in the world), he looked online and found a nice place that specialized in it and took me there. He knew he wouldn't like it, so he ordered himself the two grossest things on the menu just to at least make it interesting... Flying Fish Eggs, and Sea Urchin. Not even I would try that! I could tell he was using all his effort to keep from gagging haha. And he kept joking "If this doesn't prove that I like you, then nothing will". The place was so authentic too, gave us warm washcloths before our meal and everything...dressed to the max. We kept looking at each other like "uuuhhh".

The second date came from the fact that he was so sweet to do all that, and I already knew way before then that I was completely in love with him. We've just stuck with places that have forks since then

1. I met her at the gym. We went for drinks. During the date there was some breaking news on the TV....so unfortunately I paid more attention to that than her. It was sunny when we got to the bar....then a thunder storm hit. I didn't have the top for my car....so i'm blazing home at 90 mph with both of us just getting poured on. She had beautiful hair which got soaked.

This one was a good recovery, though. We got back and she dried her hair while I played with her dog...then we mopped out my seats while having a good laugh.....that's where we connected....and we decided to visit another venue. She was pretty cool about the whole situation but I was pizzed.

2. First date per se was at a mutual friend's wedding. We were flirting rather gratuitously. Second date was after we were out with mutual friends, and I won a bet. She had to buy me dinner/drinks. Ha. The rest is history.

1. Can't just narrow it down to one "worst date;" lol
2. I met the woman I'm seeing now at a car show - I was admiring her Corvette when she walked up, I had no idea it was her car, and I began talking to her about it! Our first "date" was at lunch a few days later; a couple days after that we met for drinks and (later) one kiss; a few days after THAT we met...

1. I met this guy at a bar while I was on a date with another guy. Him and his friend came up to our table and just sat down. Yeah, like that! They both started hitting on me in front of my date and completley ignored him. Then the guy started saying pretty rude things to my date so I stuck up for him. (It was so awkward) Well, the night ended and my date had already gone downhill before they sat at our table so the guy asked me out to breakfast. (My date and this guy had gotten into a verbal fight outside the bar and I didn't find out until later that the guy was telling my date that he was going to "hit this.") So, I said, sure and left with him after my date left. That really wasn't the plan because I couldn't figure out if he was drunk or not. He didn't seem drunk. Well, he tried to kill us on the way to the restaurant. He was doing at least 60 in a 30mph zone, running red lights and then ran a 4 way stop leading to the highway. He almost hit the car in front of us. I screamed at him to look out and he said, I drive like this all of the time. Don't worry about it. Yeah... That was the first and last time I ever left a bar with a stranger.

2. We never really had a "date" per se. I guess this can be looked at as a home date. I invited him over one night to hang out and watch a movie. It went so well... We got along great, I wasn't shy and we ended up making out and fooling around a bit that night. Not even 5 minutes after him leaving he texted me and said, "I want to see you again!!!" That led to him coming over again, again, again and again. Lol. We just ended up becoming official. (Those were the good old days)
