    I just lost 230 lbs!!!!!

I just want to give ppl hope out there that are going thru an abusive relationship. If you are planning on leaving or dream of leaving then make the proper refelections and choices to move in that direction.

If your BF or GF makes you miserable cause of their self hatred and makes you wish everyday was a lil shorter then start making some choices.

If your BF or GF is beating your verbally, physically or mentally then make those tough choices and seek help and get out.

They will never change - stop hoping if only they didn't act that way or hoping if they would only stop hitting when they were angery or hoping if they would only stop calling me down. They won't so stop hoping - there cycle of abuse has been going on longer then you.

If you are an abuser - go get help that you deseratly need and heal that part of you that wants to lash out and hurt everything around you.

I am free and I am lucky and I made it out alive. Stop making excuses for your abuser - I know been there done that -

    love to all

    To add

There is such a sense of relief when you actually go through with it, isn't there, of exactly your words "free", and being free.

It seems to just make you want to dance, whilst also having to let go of those years, and you will.

Thanks for sharing important thoughts, on abuse....

We wish you well and love Joy... As, you have always shown us the same...

I am so glad to know you have gotten free of all that. You deserve all that is good and wonderful in life. I know it can be difficult - I've been there, but doesn't it feel wonderful to get yourself free?
Congrats on the weight loss plan I lost over 350 lbs the same way! Makes you feel so much lighter.

Congratulations Joy, no one deserves to be in that type of a relationship.

Here's to you and your freedom!

LOL I've told people that was THE biggest loser - lost over 350 lbs in 15 seconds - time it took the judge to sign a paper. It's fun to see how many of them get it.

Thank you everyone I was in the relationship for 5 yrs and the last year has been the most brutal. Just in the last 3 months the physcial abuse was starting to pick up a rapid pace.

I have worked hard on myself the past year and realized I may have personal growth and development yet to untake in life... but I am not to blame for all that is wrong in his life.

I have an amazing life yet to live! Adventure is awaiting for me

                  love to you all!

Good for you! You have so much going for you, you do not need to ever have abuse in your life again. But it takes ceaseless vigilence when you've become accoustomed to it. You may find it trying to slip back into your life in another form, stay aware, keep healing, keep growing.
