lol's, you lot....yay I have a slight hangover, I definately slept in Tex,
I know, I'm like a little teenager huh!!!
Okay...here you go...
(Little take note I want this thread deleted if it goes somewhere) - only kidding.
23/12
Went out with my Property Manager for dinner, for some reason I don't know, I decided on a Greek Restaurant on the Pier. Skye knew the owner as she frequents it with her man and so off we went.
It was a warm night, I was wearing nothing (only kidding)
Anyway, there was still food on the table I wasn't eating much, drinking off course and the owner sat down with me as Skye went to say hi to a lady.. Then the waiter sat down, then the chef came out (co-owner) and he sat down. He said " why don't we have a bottle of wine", 3 bottle of wines later, Skye re-joined us and another person she knew and next thing it was 1am.
Before, that at around 11pm, I gave my business cards out.. And, I had been taking photos and we were all laughing. When I took them of this guy, he had the cutest smile, so in my tipsy haze, as I handed it to him I said " call me"... He got up to leave, smiled and said " I will".. He did 4 days later, leaving a message.
Speeding up, honest... So, I text back, "thank you so much for the call, I'm going away for 5 days, but hope to catch up when I get back", to which he replied " have a great time, I'll call you for a date", I'm like WT? pftttt.
On return, 1 day after, another message, basically saying that he thought I was back by now, and I rang him the next day hehe.
Organised a "day".... and he said he'd ring or text me the time and place and would pick me up If I liked... aweee... good signs so far.
A day before, he texted, Chianti, 7pm (bit longer than that but that will do), so I said, " that would be in Hutt street I am blonde afterall), to which he said " That would be Hutt Street, Thursday Night, ex-blonde"... haha.
Okay, okay, am I still tiddly? Anyways, Skye took me there (no licence), grrr, and as I approached the front door, so did he from the other direction hahahahaha... kiss on the cheek sat down at a table and swarmed with expert waiters like I can't remember, "silver service" style, which type of water, may I recommend, etc, etc, I felt like a Movie star lol's.
I was trying to "not" talk about ex's, or here, or things that IDK, might be too much too quick, but turned out every time he bought up a subject and I went off answering I had told him on the night we all sat down on the Pier, I was laughing so hard, and pushing my finger into his stomach as a jesture of cute, here and there, because he remembered EVERYTHING?
So, anyways, the food was beautiful, he was recommended a wine and bought it, then we had a second and I offered to pay for it, and we snuck out for a cigarette here and there.
I established that he asked (5) people where to take me on a date? lol's.
That, he had been on one date and as soon as she walked in, he knew it wasn't going to work.
When I sat down by the way he said " you look beautiful"...
Anyway, he stole a kiss and there was chemistry.
He is my age, separated for 8 months to which I said are you sure you don't carry baggage there (haha)... to which he explained they were lucky to see each other for 5 mins a day, both Chefs different shifts.
He has an 11 year old daughter, Page.
When I was explaining that it was weird that I chose that restuarant that night and well here we are, and how much fun we had, and where I had intended to go, he chose that as our next date
Wednesday.
The little cheekiness came out a bit more when outside... He felt my shoulders and pushed real tight, in a massage "friendly way" and made a joke about them being so tight and laughed... I'm like "give me more, give me more" only in my mind off course...
Somehow we touched on " never getting married again" well never saying never, but after having to pay my husband when I finally go through with Divorce, etc, a committment ceremony would be better and see later, things like that and we were in agreeance with everything. We weren't talking about us persay, rather in general naturally.
A few more stolen kisses were had and it was getting cold. It was also 11.30 at night, so he put his arms around me and I fell back into him on our chairs outside and he kind of held tight, little jestures of touching my hand things like that.
It was magical.. and very strange as in one way it was a "second date"... I made it known and mucked around heeps over, my 4 date rule lol's.....
And basically all our conversations were en-lightening on the same page and full of laughter.
One more stolen kiss and I jumped into the taxi and as I looked back he was smiling widly haha.
A text message thank you for a beautiful night, and one back that said, "night sweety, talk to you tomorrow"..
There you go...
I thought Confident Jerk and I had things in common but I really have never felt at ease to just be me, having found out I had spilled so much the previous time that I couldn't remember lol's and that he had persued me for this date. Knowing so much about me, made me so comfortable I think.
I did go to get a bottle of wine, however, I asked her how much it was...
OMG $130? I told him off. And, it was like pfttt, It's on my credit card...
So it wasn't a cheap date, it wasn't a date for my body, haha, and the only thing that scares me is 8 months isn't a long time but there again, when I left my ex, it had been over for a year, so onto the next chat, and then date...
And, yes, sorry I feel like a teenager
As to all of you lot? Yay, thanks so much, very much for your wishes, it made my morining (after thinking about last night off course) then coming here xxxPUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment
