It shouldnt work but it does!
I'm almost 38 - seperated from hubby (controlling freak), been seeing a 26 (almost 27!) year old for just over a year - he is so different from my husband that is just shouldnt work!! He is fun, we just laugh all the time and he is amazing at everything - he makes me feel special but the age difference is always at the back of my mind - doesnt bother him one bit but niggles away at me. It should have been a fling but it has progressed in to something much stronger. It just shouldnt work and it bothers me that one day he will look and go 'how old??' All my friends think I am too good for him but I look at him and think 'what is he doing with me?!' Anyone else been in a similar position and did it work (might regret asking this!) -
of course it should work! you sound lovely, he sounds lovely, and age is just a douchey number
As long as YOU know that it feels right then thats the main thing. yeah you will get on lookers having a gork at the age difference and having their own opinions of your man - but at the end of the day, they arnt the ones having the relationship.
Dont worry about what he thinks about your age. If he wanted someone younger then you, he would have gone for someone younger then you. Believe him when he says it doesnt bother him.

I think it's just me being paranoid because good things like this never happen to me and it feels like I am standing on a rug waiting for someone to pull it out from under me! I just need to stick my fingers up at people who give us a second glance and enjoy what we have (and save for botox, facelift etc!) LOL!!Comment
