should I contact HIM after a first date?

Ok, so I meet a fantastic man online and we had a awesome first date! I was totally blown away by the experience I had on this date..

I felt that every thing was brand new and fascinating. I felt that I was in an alternate universe...we talked endlessly and laughed away the day.

I also felt totally confident, beautiful and totally myself around him. He was so easy to be with, very intelligent and funny. When we made eye contact it was if though there was no wall between us. Our eyes just melded.

It has been two days now and I have not heard from him. I have noticed that he has looked at my online profile twice since our date. I am wondering if it is OK or even a good idea for me to send him a little, friendly message online????

Why not? I don't see a problem with it. Call him up or send him a message, thanking him for your date, let him know you had a great time. See what he says...

    No harm, no foul, right?

I absolutely think that women taking the initiative in this area is a wonderful idea. Go for it!

Do you have his phone number? If so go for a text rather than an online message (if not call!). A little more personal that way, I think. Anyone could send him a message to his online profile. Stand out!

I think that its wrong to expect guys to make the first move all the time. I personally always thank the man after a date. Nothing verbal or huge, just a text or an e-mail thanking for the great time.

If you had an amazing time as you say you would be crazy not to send him a message and let him know that you had a great time and thank him.... that'll put the ball in his court. I hope that it all works out for you. Please keep us all posted.

The fact that he has viewed you online, means he's curious.

                Be cool.

Send a message saying, "so, can you repeat that date?,".... let him them make the next move... It's a, like you or question, so you can't lose

I am opposed to all of them. Call me odd and old fashioned, but I would want to know how interested he is before I ever do myself.

I'd say, wait for him to make the initiative and then tell him yours. Guys love the hunt, so why not give him this chance.

Update: I went ahead and sent him a message on the dating site where we meet. I said I had a great time. However, I did suggest another activity that I knew he would like. I hope that I didn't blow it...by not letting him take the ball.

I left the message very late last night and am waiting now to hear from him. I hope, I hope...
