Be proud that he's following his dreams and auditioning for something fun. Be supportive and allow yourself to know that you're the one he loves and he's acting because it's a hobby, not because he wants to kiss someone else.
Rocky Horror is so much fun, don't allow yourself to get caught up in jealously. -
If he is an ACTOR get use to some of him being "in" his roles but he is NOT the "charactor". Tough when you watch a significant other kiss or touch another person in the way that they kiss or touch you. This is how they bring "realism" to the role they portray. The ability to "divorce" themselves from the character is the mark of a real actor. What they portray on stage is "real" for the character, NOT FOR THEM! Hans SOLO may love Princess Leia but Harrison Ford does not love Carie Fisher. But unless he can make himself feel the emotion while in character he will fail as an actor. Get to know the oher actors and you will see that they are really different people than the characters they portray.Comment

He plans to play Rocky. Getting fit for it and everything.
Now that I think about it, I am actually more excited but of course a little worried.. But I guess everyone will be touching each other haha, I guess I'll just look at it that way! There is also a chance that they will modify it to tone down the sexuality a bit because we are in a Jesuit college. After all, the plays that they selected are pretty raw.. Rocky Horror vs. Reefer Madness. I think they are also looking into doing Spring Awakening and that has a bit of a sexual discovery theme, so it looks like they're going for "raunchy" this semester.
