Nah, I don't think he's the "stalker" type. I'm 99.9% sure he's totally harmless. I think he just has a broken heart. I think he way overstepped his boundaries last night, and he knows it. I've been brokenhearted before....I know what its like to see someone you love moving on with their life, and it's devastating. I care alot for him, and it pains me to know that he's so hurt.... but I've reached the end of letting it hold me back. I'm tired of feeling guilty for our relaitonship not working out, and I'm just trying to move on with my life. I explained that to him, and I hope he understands.

I do believe he was patrolling the area as instructed by his sargeant due to some recent car break ins. I believe that. But I don't believe that he didn't follow my date home, run his plates, etc. And then posting what he did on his FB was like the icing on the cake. He doesn't think things through (was one of my problems with him as a boyfriend), and I think he knows he messed up really bad this time.

I just pray his heart mends. The last thing I want is to cause someone hurt.

Why didn't he call you up and say much of what you said to explain his actions and to ask you if everything was alright. His actions don't ring truly innocent.

That's exactly what I said to him. "If you truly do care about me, and truly do see me as a friend, then why didn't you just call me if you felt like you just HAD to know, rather than acting like a psycho and then posting about it on your FB?"

He said he jumped to conclusions and reacted inappropriately. And though he apologized, I have not spoken to him since.

Well 1) Glad the second date went equally well!! I hope there are many more fantastic dates on the horizon. Sounds like you enjoy his company and that is WONDERFUL!

          2) I cannot believe your ex did that?! That really is crossing the line. And regardless of broken heartness, if he does it again, honestly, I'd tell him that if it ever happens again..EVER that you will report him to his superior. Honestly, it's just unnecessary and unprofessional. I realize he is hurting so I don't want to sound hateful, because I know breakups are hard, but seriously...That crossed a line in my opinion.

Otherwise, I hope you see more of Mr. New Guy and I hope you will keep us posted

Just give him a bit more time. It might have taken him longer than usual since he just got sick and all. And maybe you're right, he may be broke now to be asking you out or he's unsure where to take you out. Just enjoy the time he's giving you as of the moment or if you're that impatient enough, you can just joke around about the date thing...it might give him the push that he needs.

Sorry, I've just read about the two dates who've been through with the guy.
I'm glad you and you're date are doing progress with regards to the getting to know more of each other stage. Hehe...It's just aweful that your ex had to do that to the date. I really do hope he wasn't at all intimidated by it. Goodluck to you both!
