i guess its up to you to decide where you're going to draw the line. Some women refuse to make the first move and want to be courted 100%, other women want to lead the potential relationship at the speed they want (taking the bull by the horns, if you will)... you just need to figure out where you are in that spectrum and figure out if you're okay making a move, or if you're okay waiting to see if/when he makes a move on his own.

This is your time BD! Don't waste it with distractions of the "will he/won't he" so either be the one to get things moving at the pace YOU want or sit back, relax and let whatever happens happens! But stop working yourself up over this... there are so many more important things to think about... like what to make for dinner, and what time to take the pup out for a jaunt and what color to paint your nails lol

Haha...very true. There are LOTS of things going on that occupy my thoughts. But this one is sneaking in on me, and I don't like it. lol. I guess I'm impatient!? In some situations I'd be the one to take the bull by the horns.... but I guess after my last relationship where i was CONSTANTLY leading the bull around, I'm just not wanting to have to do that. And specifically with this guy since he pursued me and keeps telling me he is going to take me out. Why keep sayin it if you don't mean it! Hahah. Darn it. Grrrr.

On the upside, I just finished Study Guide 1 for a certification I'm working on. It took me almost a year, but since I've been single, studying has come much easier and I'm able to really focus. That's one of the things my ex acknowledges that he regrets was not easily giving me that time I needed to study, instead I always had to constantly ask for "time to myself" when really time to myself was for studying, not really for myself. But yes, I completed Study Guide 1. WHOOO HOOOO.

Now..... ASK ME OUT ALREADY!! For gracious sakes it's never taken ANYONE this long! lol

He called me last night which he has only done one other time. I was of course not available as I was up on a ladder using power tools, lol, and my mom was visiting to help me do some projects. But I was pleasantly surprised, and asked if I could call him back sometime this evening. He text back "an enthusiastic YES!". So....... maybe he's just a slow mover. lol.

        TO BE CONTINUED..............

There is something to be said for letting him make that opening move - if a man is too diffident to do so, there will be problems. But once he's opened that door, do call him back.

I'm behind since I've been out of town, but did you call him or what?? I need an update!

I also agree with everyone else that says you can ask him or ask him without actually asking him Just throw out something about a new restaurant you really want to try... OR something along those lines? Or you could say, I was working on projects the other night, I really need to get out and do dinner or something this weekend?

GOOD LUCK! SEND PHONE CALL UPDATE!!!! (yes, I'm yelling )

Lol at KY! Well, I was supposed to call him last night since I couldn't get to his call the night before. He took off work yesterday and went somewhere several hours away to play golf with some buddies. They ended up getting a little intoxicated and he didn't get home last night until almost 11, at which time he text me to let me know he was home but I was asleep already, so no, I didn't call him. haha. We've been chatting on text this morning. So the saga continues.... no date on the books yet. haha. :0)

Geez... Hopefully it is one heck of a date. The build up is killing me, I can't imagine what it is doing to you.

I was thinking the same thing LB! I'm starting to get as antsy as BD is with this whole "will they/won't they" thing

But seriously BD, glad you all are still chatting, but I am with you. I mean, if he doesn't ask soon, I am going to wonder if he's really into it or not. I mean, Taking things slow is good, but the longer it takes, the higher the expectations, etc... And I think now that he is well, he should get with the program!
