Guy Im dating is moving away for work reasons...
So I need to know what I should do. I have never been in this situstion before and am so looking for a little insight on wether I should leave the relationship now to prevent further hearbreak or stick together in hopes we an work it out. The guy I am dating, for about 7 months received word from his work that they are relocating him. Because he is government job, its not something he can turn down. I adore this guy and could possibly be in love with him, although we both havent actually said the words to each other. I am not too sure how he feels. But since he did receive word, he has been pulling away and I have been letting him. I know this has to be tough on him, hopefully anyway. He leaves in 8 months so I have this time to spend wth him, but the problem is, should I invest any more time than I need to if it will end anyways? Please give any feed back, and all will help. Thanks alot! -
Together you will have to decide if you should strengthen the relationship or abandon it. It is only hopeless if one of you commits to that scenario.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia
