Hey all. I am feeling a little lonely today being that it is sweetest day and everyone i know is married/has a bf. I am single for the first time in my life on sweestest day.It's sad sitting by myself on sweetest day. On tips on how to feel not so alone thanks.

Being in a relationship doesn't mean you get acknowledgement of any holidays or anniversaries. Here in the US I don't think anyone does much for Sweetest Day. Do something nice for yourself.

And WC is right, I dated a guy for 6 years, we lived together, he wanted to have kids...etc.....and he never once got me anything for valentines day or my birthday. So just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean anyone is going to do anything nice for you.

I don't even have a clue what sweetest day is, is it even a US holiday... Valentine's day is enough to drive me nuts with its over commercialization.

It's one of those over-commercialized holidays to tell how much you love your SO.
