I agree that the severity of it depends on the length of their relationship. But I'm inclined to think that most people in relationships would have a problem with this scenario especially given the fact they had previously slept together.

Neh...not anymore than you are my friend. I think we've all made some assumptions. You conveniently left out the fact they'd had sex in the past. And you're making the assumption that this friend has met his mom before and that they are close enough that it would be important for mom to meet her new baby. Your probably right... but we don't know that. Anymore than we know how long these two have been dating. And I guess if the OP never comes back and responds, we'll just have to keep guessing.

The women here always say that what happens before your relationship should not concern your current relationship. Why is it not true here. The sexual encounter was a one time thing that happened before this relationship ever began. He hasn't cheated, or been unfaithful. Agreed, a story has two sides. OP doesn't' seem to need our input. Kinda puts me off. O well.
