How do I get out of dating this guy?

    Hi all,

I wouldn't call this guy a "boyfriend" because he and I have only been on three dates, but anyway, here's the story: we've gone out on three dates and he seems okay, but I'm not real impressed by him either. He hasn't done anything wrong in our dating, but for me, there's just no sparks. The one time we made out I had to force myself to act passionate. I have no interest in him whatsoever, not romantically or platonically.

So basically, I don't like him. I want to break up with him, but how exactly do I say it? I don't want to be rude and just say "I don't like you".

    Thanks for any suggestions!

IDK, tell him there were no sparks, even though you went through the motions to see if things would happen. Oh, and tell him that you two can be friends. That usually kills any chance of a relationship or friendship.

Yep...just tell him you're not feeling what you'd like to be at this point and that you don't see any need to continue dating. Letting him know now is better than letting him continue wasting his time. Just be honest.

I think you should communicate with him about how you feel. Communication is the key.
