    meeting him in person

    Hi
after talking to this guy online for 2 months, we decided to meet.
We had good chats and laughs.

The following day, he wrote me telling me that he hope I was not disappointed meeting him personally.
What is he trying to say?

He's trying to see if you were attracted to him or not.
    "Be what you're looking for."

      I see, I think he's a great guy.
He had a bad experience from his past relationship and so am I. We both know it.
He once told me that he's not looking for a relationship.
And I told him too. But when we talked, we talked as if we've known for each other for so long.
He's very open about his relationships and about himself. He's direct as well.
He's kinda know the way I think too.

He said that hoping you'd say "no, you were wonderful, don't be silly". He was actually thinking "I was so darn great you have to acknowledge it" when he was typing that.

Well, it depends on the guy. Some may be pessimistic and truly believe they were awful, others more reasonable and think they were great, considering that you both had a good time. It depends on the personality. But somebody who says that always hopes you're going to say something nice back, it's like asking you "so, do you like me?". Deep inside everyone wants to believe he was great at a date and it's usually men who find you interesting who say what he said.

But it was not a date. We agreed that it was not a date.

I'm not really sure how to react on this situation. Although I met a lot people online.
I think he's quite reasonable. Maybe I'm just too focus on my own problems that I didn't see his effort of seeing me personally and talking with me about my problems.

But he was clear to me too, that he's not seeking for any relationship. So, I think he's just offering friendship to me and that's it.
