    bad sign?

ok so today is my birthday, ive been talking to this guy i met from a dating site for a cpl of weeks now, he's known for sometime now that ive had some recent problems with my car that prevent me from driving right now. my plan was to rent a car for a cpl days but that didnt fall through since my check was short last week.

we had plan to go to dave and busters today to celebrate, but im unable to meet him there now. so i called him to let him know and instead of offering to pick me up, he just told me he'll meet me another day? i dont know why but that just isnt sitting right with me, maybe im overreacting.. what do yall think?

i was expecting to him atleast offer, but he didnt. so my plans have pretty much changed altogether now that he's made it clear that meeting was the only option.

i should also add this guy at one point offered to drive me to the casino 2hours away for my birthday, but he cant go out of his way to do a 20 minute drive to dave and busters.. confused.

Sounds like one guy is interested in you and one is not. Split personalities are hard to deal with.

It would bother me. My first instinct would've been to say "I wasn't able to rent a car, would you mind coming to get me?" but then again, if a guy is thoughtful and looking forward to seeing you, he shouldn't have to be asked. Just as I"m sure if the situation were reversed, you'd have just offered to come get him.

Then again, you all havent' been dating long...he could've thought this was your way of getting out of being with him today. So maybe he didn't want to push it.

I, however, knowing myself and how I am in relationships, would consider it a bad sign and would definitely pull the reigns a bit on any feelings I was developing for him.. in other words, I don't think I'd not see him again over it, but I'd definitely be mindful of his eagerness to see you and be with you in the future.
