    Confidence.

The girls that talk to you, show you that they are interested are girls with confidence, they don't care if they are not part of "the crowd" long nails, get their hair done, wear clothes that "turn you boys on" in a nice way off course, they are just being themselves

Confidence. You feel confident with those girls, easy to talk to but the "princesses" if that's perhaps a good word to use as an example, you don't feel confident that they would go out with you and so you get nervous etc.

    So it starts with you.

I continually make it clear that I will repsect and treat the girl well to.
Actions speak louder than words.. A nice girl who wants that is a girl who is happy in herself.. A princess doesn't want a guy like that, she wants him to pamper her with gifts, spend money on her and make her wonder if she really has him as he plays the bad boy and has a swarm of girls interested in him..

Is that really what you are after?

maybee try going out with a group of friends and hanging out with the same (bet yet large-ish) group of people and after a while if you find any intrest in any of the girls in your group, ask them to go out for lunch. Or plan a group lunch a couple times before asking the one girl.

        What are you referring to?

And no I thought about that. I absolutely am not after that. I don't know what i'm supposed to do if i'm not to as attracted to a nice girl that doesn't "pamper" herself. It's hard to control who you're attracted to.

And you're probably right I am less confident with girls like that. I think part of that might be to that I can't relate to them very well. I've just been looking for a girl that's both and not finding anyone, you know? I just don't relate as much to the "princesses" and aren't as attracted to others. It's frustrating!!! Any advice?

You think my problem could be me? How i'm projecting myself?

It's not that unusual to get nervous around women you're attracted to (I get nervous around men I'm attracted to even when they call me) and find it easier to to talk to women you're not (because you see them more like friends, so it feels not that bad if you say something wrong).

Question is, what kind of women attract you? Is it the one who stands out in the crowd because of her looks, the over-confident one, the one who thinks she's better than anyone around (and makes you think the same)? Do you find women who are more quiet and don't stand out in the crowd boring?

I think a lot has to do with what you're seeking, or what impresses you. Because we're often attracted to what people project at certain times than the real person, and that means that we're more attracted by their acting than by their personality. Don't confuse real attraction with being impressed. A "boring" woman can look very attractive when in a good mood, or when out with her boyfriend, and an "attractive" one can be very boring once she opens her mouth.

          Think about it.

Thanks for taking the time to answer back Stressed.

Yeah, but I end up not being myself, myself when I get nervous! It's a problem I don't know what to do.

And what exactly are you suggesting? The thing is, I find that i'm not attracted to one type of a girl. I see the good in whoever it may be. The attractive girl may be ethusiastic or the quiet girl may be easy to talk to and be around. It doesn't necessarily matter to me. The one thing that does matter to every guy is looks, which I am really trying to get over. But what were you suggesting about who i'm aiming for?
