    Feelings of loneliness

Hey everyone. Does anyone here feel feelings of loneliness in your sex life?

I hooked up with a guy this past summer that I really liked a lot. We met at school in my program, and then I told him I liked him after a few months. We then hung out our first time outside of school, and then we fooled around at his place. We moved way too fast, but I really really knew I liked him a lot. After that he then told me he just thinks we should be friends... I was so hurt. He never really gave me a chance to hang out with him outside of school again on a platonic level. I tried really hard to hang out with him... he gave me really mixed signals too. He'd flirt with me constantly, and I was so confused because then he would never ask me to hang out, or sometimes at school he'd kinda ignore me.

School ended a few weeks ago, and I was so scared I'd never see him again. He never made an effort to really get to know me outside of school. While I tried and tried to put effort into our friendship, I felt used by him, and he just did not seem to care about me. Anyways, when we said bye to each other on the last day, we hugged and he said we should hang out soon....now I have a feeling he never really meant it. He always said he wants to be friends, but he puts no effort into our friendship!! He messaged me a week after school ended, and we talked..but that was it so far.

I think about him every day. I miss him a lot. I want to talk to him. i want to see him in person, but I'm tired of making an effort. Even though he hurt me so much, I still like him, and have such strong feelings for him.

I've been on other dates with guys, but these guys put in an effort and we were really nice guys. Yet, I did not like them. I like the guy who treats me badly.

I'm 23, and I am not experienced at all. So this guy at school was my first for a lot of things, and I do feel attached. But now since he does not seem interested in me, and hardly talks to me, I feel so rejected and alone. I feel bad for not going out more with the nicer guys, but I'm so not attracted to them. I feel I need to move on from the school guy and get myself out there more. Should I talk to school guy and tell him how I feel?

Point is, I feel like because school guy rejected me, I'm going to be alone forever... I feel i'm a loser because I've never really had a boyfriend, and I'm extremely inexperienced. I feel like I'll never meet anyone else. I still have self-confidence issues, and I'm shy around guys mostly. I just want to meet the right person but I'm tired of waiting. I want to be with school guy so badly...but he hurt me so much. Should I give the other guys a chance even though I'm not attracted to them? I'm so scared.

Has anyone felt like this, too?

He is just not into you as much as you are into him. You cannot have him unless he is in agreement. Put it down as a learning experience and move on. I know it will be hard but it will be a lot better when you find someone you like who also likes you that you get into a mutual love relationship with. Get out dating to find Mr. Right.

Hey girl, I am going through the same thing, and I'm also the same age. I posted a thread about it on this board as well if you are interested in seeing what happened. I really don't know what to do, but I want you to know that I understand EXACTLY how you feel. I am a good girl, too, and I did things with him too early, and maybe that ruined it. I don't know. Be strong and know you are not alone!
