Yeah, I know... It's a really stupid question... But I'm 16 years old and I've always wanted that kind of cute boyfriend with the most amazing personality and just amazing in every way... How do you get a boy friend?

-Kind of insecure... (I feel really insecure towards my physical appearance)

I'd reeeeally appreciate any help! Plus I get kind of awkward with guys... I don't know to be a proper friend with a guy! Help T^T

The secret is if your trying to find one thats not going to work just relax and enjoy life your young but if a guy walks up to you be confident talk to him start a conversation the fact is being friends with a guy is the best way to start a relationship.

No one is amazing in every way. Look for someone you enjoy being with, someone who makes you happy. Look for guys who also get awkward some of them are really nice, but no one gets a chance to find out.

Find one with a great personality. You will find he becomes more attractive the more you like him.

If you're actively looking for someone to date, you'll have a hard time finding someone that fits the bill of what you want in a guy. Once you stop thinking about it, and focus your attention on different aspects of your life (I.e. your schoolwork, singing, etc...), that's when dating opportunities have a habit of falling out of the sky. When you focus so much on finding 'the right one', you might overlook a potentially good match in someone else. Just go with the flow.

You're feelings are pretty normal, so don't worry about it and just be yourself. Your expectations are more fantasy than reality though. Look for a great guy that makes you feel good and will make you happy. He'll have some flaws, but we all do and that's what makes us who we are. Also, don't worry about being awkward with a guy. Even the girls who come on strong and seem sure of themselves are usually feeling the same as you inside but project in a different way. It takes a life time for us women to understand man, but that's part of the challenge and the whole fun.
