Dating: Should women approach men at bars???

Do you think its socially acceptable for women to approach men at bars/clubs?

My friend has been dating a guy she met a few months ago. She saw him at a bar went up to him and started talking. He ended up being a doctor and is really good looking. Most of the guys who approach me are players or losers. My friend is pretty but I wouldn't say she's gorgeous. If she didn't go up to him they would have never met.

Have any of you done this? Do guys think its weird if a girl starts the conversation?

While bars are probably not the place to hunt for a guy who is looking for a serious relationship, if you are going to hunt there, you may as well be the hunter instead of the prey. At least you will be more in control.

    Good luck

Nothing wrong with women approaching men (at bars or anywhere). Just be sure that everyone is on the same page about what is expected.

Certainly going to a bar for shy guys is going to be more fun if the ladies start the conversations.

Nothing wrong with women approaching men at all. I did with my partner now but only because i was told he likex me and i knew he was to shy and im not shy at all so i got the conversation going. I definatly wouldnt in a bar or club because you cnt tell if that person is genuine or looking for the one night thing. Then in the same breath he could be really nice. I guess id judge it by if i went and chatted up a guy in a pub or club and he says lets meet for dinner or lunch then that would be more my thing but if he said come back to mine after i wouldnt go for that. Some men dont like a woman chatting them up though when they are used to the chase im thinking.

If you like someone, you should approach him/her. You should at least express your interest and not act coy. Its not like you meet someone you like easily

I useto do it all the time. It got me to find my boyfriend now. We have been together for 10 months and we already know we want it to last forever. Hes my soulmate and after I approached him he did the rest of it. Sometimes guys are just as shy as girls (the good ones)

better to let him approach you. If he's interested he'll do that
