    The Perfect Date Movie?

    Hello everyone

Now that Valentine's Day has finished, I thought a nice little thread to start up could be about the perfect date movies. Most women seem to enjoy soppy romantic comedies, but I think a mix of the romantic side of things and action and gore is the perfect way to please the partner and me. Films like Speed, Troy, Top Gun, Star Wars and Mr & Mrs Smith are ideal date movies!

Another film that my partner loves the look of - and me too! - is Reign Of The Assassins. A new asian action movie coming out shortly. Looks amazing and rather sweet too. I've already pre-ordered it as a little surprise for him. Ha!

What are your favourite date movies that pleases both you and the man in your life?

The hubby and I are having our Valentine's date night tomorrow and we are going to see the new Bruce Willis movie A Good Day to Die Hard. We have seen all of them because I love them. We like to watch all kinds of movies together.

We love all the movies you mentioned and those type movies work for us. That isn't to say that he wont watch a chick flick with me because he has watched a many of them in 21 years.

For me, I would like to see something intellectually stimulating that either is directly about sex or has lots of nudity. Basically something that would start a conversation about sex afterwards. Examples are Relax, its just Sex or the 1999 French movie Romance.

I love action, scify and fantasy stuff a lot, but if I am hoping for some intimacy afterwards, it would have to be a little more mind stimulating

See for us we can't keep our hands off each other in the movie. We normally don't make it home without one of us shedding some clothing and lots of touching.

I wish that was the case for us. But that's another issue.

We have had our ups and downs trust me we are not the perfect ideal couple a lot of people think we are. We just hit a very rough patch but we worked though it and are tying to make our marriage stronger than it ever was before.

I've never been the kind of girl who likes chick flicks. The boyfriend and I are going on a date tomorrow after he gets off of work, we're going to see "Identity Thief". I have a love for Melissa McCarthy, so he's being nice enough to take me and sit through it; he has no hopes of liking the movie but he knows I want to see it.

But we both like action, scifi movies. So usually we'll go see those. The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, The Avengers; those are all movies we've each wanted to see and saw together on dates. So yeah, I'm not the "typical" kind of female.

Not a movie as such, but me and my woman spent a whole Sunday snuggled up on the couch, watching the entire first season box set of 'Game of Thrones'.

                  Good times...
