Anyway, me and my gf have been dating for 2 yrs now , we have had our ups and downs. But since a few months back things have been going downhill for us.

The only way i can put this up is that i am jealous of her best friend. Ok so, I dont even know if this is normal but she tells me that she and her best friend share tiniest of details telling each other everything whether its as small as telling each other they are in shower or anything big. And she keeps on talking to her 24/7 be it texting or calling, even if it means ignoring me. And to add upto it she keeps on talking about her every time. She keeps saying me and her best friend are alike in personalities and stuff, which makes me jealous, if she loves me for those things only. She knows i am jealous of her best friend but she keeps bringing her up. And keeps on comparing us.

I really dont know, sometimes she is much more happy to be around her than she is with me.

Am i just too jealous or is there something wrong. Please help me its creating a problem in our relationship.

Thanks for the reply *artqween, i don't think i can date anyone or anything this soon , we have been together for over 2 years now :/. I might give an ultimatum to her that if this continues i won't stay.

Part of being in a relationship is making your partner special in your life. Often that means altering your friendships with others to allow for that specialness. The specialness is in many different areas, not just sex or a few areas. It sounds like you want to be honored in this way but your gf does not want to make accommodations. IMO she is not going far enough in the relationship. If you are open to the subjects she wants to talk about and can have valuable input, she should be confiding in you, at least to an increasing degree. Bring this up and see what her response is.

I guess you are just over reacting. You can't expect her to leave her best friend just like that but I guess you can talk to her about how you feel so she'll do her part also in understanding your feelings.
