OK I recently started to go back to my childhood church and there is this guy we were childhood friends cuz our moms used to serve.(I don't know if he remembers me) but I started notice A LOT I catch him making glances at me. But we don't talk at all. one of the girls that also goes to church said he asked about me but I do not know to believe her or not.(she doesn't know I like him) do you ladies think he atleast interested in me? Lol

either he's interested, or recognizes you from his childhood, maybe both

If the other girl doesn't know that you like him and yet, stated that he asked about you, chances are he's seen your body language "looking at him" and wanted to know if you are available.
Some guys are shy, use your body language to do the talking, that being again show the interest but in a subtle way as you obviously have as I assume you are interested in "him" getting to know him.
She had no reason to tell you that based on what you said.
