Have you ever gotten a compliment that should be strange… but instead ends up being weirdly hot?

Like someone once told me, "You look like you read people’s energy before you read their texts."

(True, actually.)

So now I’m curious:

What’s the most oddly specific, weird, or unexpected compliment that somehow made you feel way hotter than it should have?

When I was a teenager (awkward and low self-esteem), there was a girl that I was attracted to who came to a baseball game I was participating in.

When the game was over, and we were talking, she stopped suddenly and paid me the weirdest, but awesomest compliment that I'd ever received because I knew it was genuine.

She said:

You have really long eyelashes...

I didn't know what to make of it...But I knew it felt good receiving the compliment, and for a woman, I guess that was a very desirable trait! I haven't forgotten that to this day, despite it being 35 years ago!

You know... I cannot tell you how many men I know (my husband included!!!) who have long eyelashes. Like, that's a big deal for us because we're always piling on the mascara to try to make ours longer LOL. It isn't fair.

One of the strangest pick up lines I heard one time was a guy saying
I was worth 389 quarters. It sounded strange but impressive. And the funniest one I've heard was years later when a guy asked me if my legs were HURTING? I responded with huh? And he said
Cause you been running through my mind ALL day baby!
That got me laughing and very much hot and bothered. Lol

I think the 389 quarters would have made me do a double-take, too LOL. (Like, I'm still sitting here thinking about that... I love the randomness of it.)

Was told I had a good wardrobe and organised. He wasn't wrong hehe

When I was a teen, a slightly older boy told me that I had nice eyes. Of course, I said thanks and some awkward remark about the new eye shadow color I was trying out. He said something along the lines of, I don't mean that they're pretty, I mean that I can tell you see things well beyond the surface and see things different.

I had no idea what that was supposed to mean...but it made me feel pretty special.

Oh that's a really sweet one! Sounds like he was a pretty deep-thinking, observant boy.
