I feel for ya.. I'm in a similiar situation... except I have to stay for at least another 5 months. I too want to find myself... I lost so much of myself tryign to be this perfect person for him.. i guess I forgot about me. Don't lose hope... do what's right for you.. or you may deeply regret it...

well before completely throwing away your current relationships (yes, I'm talking to the last 2 posters), are you 100% sure it's "them" and "their fault" why ya feel this way?

Could you just be unhappy with yourself for some other reason and letting it bleed over into your relationship with your SO? Sometimes we blame others for something outside of their control, and which they may not even know about.

Trying to be the "perfect person" isnt right for anyone. Like I said in some other post, dont pretend to be someone to try and get a guy to like you. years later he will be wondering what happened to the person that never actually existed.

Besides, you may find that if you two talk about it and work through it together, that he loves the person you really are, as much or more than the perfect person you have been trying to be.

Key is though, you gotta love yourself too.
