Mum, I'm not a woman but I do know how men think obviously - Sometimes not often as women do. Need a space of time.
Take him at his word and move on, he maybe just be playing mind games to see if you will go because in his mind he maybe wanting extra attention for what ever reason it might be,
If he comes back boo hoooing and all that then you basically have him where you need him excuse the expression Begging for you,
But now, you call the shots, in a nice way of course., and say simply. Hey I love you but we just can't be doing these things, if you've got a problem baby lets get it out on the table and nip it in the bud. Let him know you want to work it out and for both of you to be happ. At the same time let him know and this is the hard part if he truly does whant you to move on then ok. but, beware when that happens I'm out of here.
Now I've said a lot in a harsh kind of way. I said it that way to say it quicker on this keyboard but when you do all this put some sweetner in it, kindness and Grace.
You have to tho let him know you mean buisness. If he's use to you being very passive this is going to get his attention and that you are not playing around, You see what I'm saying. I hope you do. I'm not very good with words. Please take it in all kindness, that I mean well.
