    troubles

I have been with my boyfriend for about 1 year. I love to death, and I want to be with him, but he's older than me. This wouldn't be such a problem if it weren't for my immaturity sometimes. I'm not that bad, but I have issues. I have had traumatic experiences and have a hard time dealing with them, and a lot of it gets taken out on him.

He's on the verge of leaving me, and I don't know how to just make things "go away" and "stop." I want him to be happy, but if we can be happy I'd prefer that, I just don't know what to do.

have you 2 ever just sat down and talked about all of it? have you been able to be that honest with him (and yourself) and your "issues".

sometimes just doing that fixes a lot

we talk a lot, that's one great thing about our relationship. we talk a lot. but we are also both very very stubborn, almost righteous sometimes. it's makes things really hard. i feel like he used to adore me, and now I'm just a burden in his life. everything i do annoys him, even when Im just being sweet and nice

St Simon there may be no saving this relationship if it has already soured. The greatest thing is that you have admitted you need help with past tramatic issues. From this point on you can start working and healing these issues. Maybe you guys need some space to sort yourselves out.

I don't know how old you both are but you said its your immaturity. You don't have to be his age you haven't lived that part of your life to be his age. You have to allow yourself the room to grow. Maybe its better if you find someone who is +/- a few years within your age. Someone who can identify with your need to grown and learn not someone who has been there done that.

Its hard but sometimes we can only thank that person for being part of our life and let them go.
