Ok, getting a bit heated. I've said it before on a post, the person who started this thread asked for our advice and it seems so far people have been more occupied with bickering their points. Help the poster. Please

You should feel however it is you really feel, and not try to make yourself feel otherwise.

What you should you do? well, we all already know what we should do and what we want to do.

The key is admitting to ourselves what they really are and then going from there.

close your eyes, take a deep breath and and yourself:

what do I "want to do"?

then ask yourself what you think you should do?

So what does this mean for that poor individual? It means a string of relationships with women who can't deal with the way he is (and I'm not saying that he cheats), until he dies alone.

I don't have enough respect in your average womans ability to make a reasoned judgement that isn't coloured and tarnished, therefore I don't think that you give men any reason to tell you.

At what point in the relationship should you say? When you buy her your first drink? Dismissed. See what I mean? To be trusted with information you have to prove that you can deal with it. But maybe I just have a bad opinion of women in this matter because of everything that I've read on this forum.

So your advice to bisexual men is to completely disregard a woman's feelings because you don't agree with them? Sounds familiar.

I wonder on that Crazy.. That's a good point. Do men also react the same way? Pretty sure the average guy would say ahh that's gross, ahh don't come near me, mate, your not a man.

It's like those whom were bought up that bj's are gross, that sex is only to have babies, and therefore, experiementing is way too hard, they can't let go of their inhibitions, and guys not going to the base, it's gross... Never heard of that till now no way.

It's human nature to think things where only a certain amount of people can "think out side the square" i think.

I dont think it's unreasonable for a woman to be scared for her health if she finds out that a man she has a relationship with is bisexual, IF the man didn't make his bisexuality known to her.

Now some people may have different opinions of bi-sexual men vs. bi-sexual women in general, and I agree thats wrong. But that doesn't negate the health concern.
You can prove anything with statistics. I'd guess that the men in the survey use protection with other men because of the higher risk of STDs, but those who don't with women don't because they're in a steady committed relationship. I personally am physically attracted to men, but physically and emotionally attracted to women and would only have a long-term relationship with a woman. My protection needs for a fling with a guy would be different to those for a long-term relationship. Obviously the answer is for both partners to always get HIV tested before losing the love gloves

The OP needs to have a serious talk with her partner... if he was engaging in dirty chat then that's bad enough, but at least it's safe. If he's been up to anything else she deserves to know.

Edit: apologies for bumping this, didn't realise the thread was so old!
