    Bad News?

So I have a boy friend.. He travels a lot lately.. this morning he called me from the airport and was talking as normal. He then txt me saying that "the plane was packed and everyone did not look happy..'

I txt him.. I hope you are sitting next to nice people. He then txt me " This lady, she seems mad that I am sitting next to her. You look pretty"

i txt back: "I look pretty"

He txt: "of course! Cya plane taking off"

Now if I am not there how the heck woud he know if I look pretty or not? I'm thinking he is traveling with someone from his job or not and she is not sitting next to him and he meant that txt to go to her. Mind you he tells me he is not traveling with anyone. I also noticed all day Saturday i could not get a hold of him and I didn't talk to him till Sat. No ..I didn't ask where he was on Sat either but maybe I should of. So now he is gone till Friday night as he is now going to another state on Tuesday night..

Am I jumping the gun.. I'm not txting him today at all as I always do that..

Maybe he was tired, he sounded weird to me to start with talking about people not being happy, woman looking mad, maybe he needed comfort hense "you look pretty"... Or, maybe he has you saved on his screen when he calls you.

You are probably overanalysing and could get yourself in trouble. He just may think you look pretty everyday. Getting in a snit won't help. Either you trust him or you don't, if you don't, end it. If you do trust him, quit worrying about it.

Guess I could have worded that a bit more gently. But trust a biggie. If you've ever been in a relationship with someone who can't trust you learn how hurtful it is. I've been on both sides, with someone who couldn't trust and then with someone I found I couldn't trust.

If someone truly cares for you and they have integrity and you don't trust them, it's really hurtful. How do you prove to someone who cannot trust that You are trustworthy? It puts them in an impossible situation. One the other side, being with someone who really isn't worthy of trust is very damaging.

You have to put what ever is in the past aside and take each person as fresh experience and decide to trust them until and unless they give you cause not to. It's the only right thing you can do for yourself and them. People do tend to live up to our expectations.

I don't think he could have intended that text to go to someone else, I am not aware of phones that have the ability to have muliple text windows open at the same time (maybe, but never have seen that). I've started punching things in, been distracted, started again and found my words jumbled up with stuff I forgot I had already typed in there. For whatever reason he was saying "you look pretty" at whatever time, it was intended to go your name or you wouldn't have got the part of the message that made sense. Do you know what I mean?

I mean people can text the wrong person easy enough, but since half the message you are sure was for you the response about the lady, the you look pretty comment couldnt have snuck in from another text window I don't think. Unless he was texting two people and accidentally texted the you are pretty to you instead of to someone else, didn't send, then responded to you , not noticing the you are pretty was already in there and hadn't gone through.

Is that making your head spin yet? It should because my point is, its a whole lot of reaching. I'm guessing his travelling a lot already has you feeling a little insecure. Don't let that insecurity (if you do have it) cause you to react distrustful to him over little things.

I reach, I do it all the time. I think of all the possibilities and the what ifs and I wonders but then I catch myself, take a deep breath and tell myself to quit it. Until he gives you some real indicators that he is being unfaithful, got to let the little strange 'hmm it may have been possible for him to have' things go. It will make you miserable and for likely no good reason.

I'm not so sure, it's sounds pretty suss to me. Don't mistrust your own instinct. Anyway, the truth will out in the end, it always does.
