    what should i do

So my boyfriend and I recently broke up... If you've read any of my previous posts you'd know why... lol... I haven't seen or talked to him since it happened (almost a week ago)... well i'm invited to one of my good friends going away partys and I found out that he's invited too. Now all my friends are telling me to go, looking really hot and try to make him jealous.... I'm obviously going to do this. lol... But I'm just really nervous about seeing him. I don't know how he's giong to treat me, i don't know what emotions i'm going to have... I just don't know. i don't really have a question here, i just need a little support.

Shake and flaunt what your mama gave you and what he'll never have again. Don't care about him and just hang with your crowd. I'm sure your friends will be supportive for you if you get emotional or anything about the physical seeing of your ex! Otherwise, just work it girl! Good luck.

As they say, looking good and being happy is the best revenge. I would show up wearing something hot but not desperate, its a fine line hehe. Hair and make up done and sporting a smile and a giggle.

Avoid drinking. Sometimes alcohol can make people weepy and over emotional and could lead to embarassing, regretful behavior. Keep it sober so that you are in total control of how you handle this run-in with the ex.

Also I wouldn't hang all over other guys, that may be what he would expect and give him a bad impression of how much you cared or didn't. Just have fun and focus on your girlfriends, dancing being pretty and funny and interesting. Show him that you respect yourself and arent clinging to any boy that winks at you in the wake of your break up.

Thats just something I think would make him think that you trully are something special that got away :-)

            Personally?

I would look good, say hello in passing so to speak but basically enjoy yourself and ignore him.

Why? Cause you will look good to start with and secondly, you won't be trying to seek his attention and he'll wonder why.

But remember, why you both broke up... You said it twice, previous relationships and he believed you to be so in this relationship with him, "trust issues"....

You also said, even though you moved in with him, things weren't going down the path you wanted and that, you sat him down and told him so..

It depends on how you "discuss" in a relationship..

So, if you show your cards too much on the "trust issue" side of a relationship, it's all to hard for the guy.... He sees jealousy, no trust, and therefore, it's hard...

This is the other reason why I have said, say hello in passing but ignore him...

Remember also, he cheated to get you, then he slept at a friends house whilst you were at your mums and there were 3 girls, he says nothing happened, probably wanted to see if you "trusted him" and you didn't.... Even though he said nothing happened, he may have actually been telling you the truth and then, testing you.

If you like this guy, then by mostly ignoring him, but looking good, and having a good time but not openly flirting with other guys, he may re-consider his thoughts about you, however, you have to start to deal yourself, with your trust issues, for any relationship sweet.

Thank you for you advice!! I love this site!! haha

I agree with you CW. I'm not going to be a , but ignoring him would be a good idea. Especially since I do still have feelings for him. If he starts talking to me, then I will enbark in conversation, but i'm not going to go out of my way to talk to him. There's going to be a lot of people there I know, so I think i'll just stick with my girlfriends. I don't think I'm going to drink either, I don't normally get emotional when I do drink, but I've never been in this situation before...

I'm excited, too bad it's only wednesday! lol.

I'll definitly post after the weekend
