    argh!

ugh! im about the scream here. a guy i was involved with a few months ago looked me up on facebook to ask me if i wanted my sin city movie back that i left at his house the night that i came over and we got frisky on his couch.(no actually sex happened, nor did he push for it to happen) after i left that night... he got weird and "forgot" about the plans we made the next week.so i got fed up with his hot and cold, acting like he is interested then backing off thing.and told him you cant go back to "just friends" after you go as far as we did that night. if he has issues with commitment, thats fine...but im not into game playing anymore.he didnt reply.so i left it at that. a month after,he calls me to say merry xmas....oook..thanks?
    now this? WHAT THA FRIG!!!!!!!!!!
i dont really care about the darned movie,i can easily replace it for the cost of the gas it would take to go retrieve it. im just frustrated that he does this .

He's just looking for an excuse to contact you, I think. Could be because he think he messed up his shot and wants to see if your open to giving him another chance... could be that he was just bored. Proceed with caution; but it sounds like you are already doing so :P

Because some guys are weird and all reverse psycho a lot of times, your lack of interest in picking up the film will likely make him try harder. 'Why isn't she jumping at the chance to see ME? WONDERFUL ME? Man.. I love this girl'.. lol.

As a side note.. I hate that game. If I like someone I want to see them and be with them I tell them!!! I don't want to pretend I dont want to see them when I do just to make them want to see me more . ARGH too, dang it. lol. I'm lucky that my boyfriend isn't into all that game playing either. We want to see each other we do, no excuses, no I forgot my hairbrush or you left a wadded up receipt here don't you think you should come get it. Pfft.

But some guys like the chase, the fact that you didn't go apeshirt when he didn't show up after your make out session and just let him go probably has him intrigued even though thats not what you were aiming for. I'd look for more pop ins and random you left it stuff he sounds immature enough for that :P

i know! i hate that bs too...i saw the "he just not that into you" movie and just shook my head in disbelief... im really supposed to bend myself into a pretzel for a guy who (chances area) isnt even worth the effort? what is the actual prize for all this jumping through hoops? he kept telling me he was scared of relatioonships, blah blah bah... well .. so am i! i have been knee deep in mens before, dumped, cheated on,.called a stalker even!(couple times actually) it doesnt stop me from getting close to another guy if im interested.but whatever.. he knows enough about what he wants,i wont push him (shouldnt have too) i guess i just dont have the energy/patience anymore.

Gotta agree with HD. He's making excuses.. i've done it before...had it done to me before too. Yeah it could be that he realized he really likes you, but chances are based on the history of your "relationship", he's lonely, or bored. He didn't "conquer" you, so technically, you're still a challenge. I think you're doing the right thing. Leave him be.
