Common problem, I have it too. But have decided to stick with what I have for a while because I think it just may turn out to be worth it but you have to have something good to work with!

and most importantly have lost some faith in myself to make good relationship decisions.

i thought i was ready and healthy, but realized no matter how much i learned about them i couldn't make someone else ready and healthy.

I think you are ready and healthy, rather we are complicated creatures and alot have baggage and in-securities and haven't found themselves, being able to stand on their own two feet and be themselves and that makes them un-healthy and definately not ready.

Admittedly, there are alot of guys like this too that were burnt financially, emotionally, or cheated on who also have issues and cant' move in the right direction, for the same reasons.

UNTIL a person heals and knows in the understanding that that is life, and they learnt what they do and don't want from a relationship and that people are people, you can't change them, rather understand we are all different, and be truly happy in themselves for who they are, they can't find... instead, they attract.. And, what they attract, is past...

Work a little more on your own self esteme and you will know, you will see it all in front of you and know which roads to take and not take.
